Issue

Error message “Out of design area” is displayed.

Answer/Cause

This error occurs when the design data set as work data does not exist at the location where the bulldozer is currently located.
Please check the following causes.

1) The working data is not set or the project file is not set.

2) The design data is unintentionally in 2-surface mode or out of the range of the design data 　created in 2-surface mode.

3) Error in creation of design data or design data is not available at the location.

Explanation/How to deal

1) Touch the “File” button, select “Active”, and choose the target data in “Surface”.

If there is no design data to be selected here, the project file may not be set up correctly. Please refer to the following article to check if the settings have been made.

Project file cannot be set.

2) If “LIFT” is displayed on the screen, you are in 2-surface mode.
In 2-surface mode, design data is created based on the construction history, so the design will be out of the data where there is no history.

If you have unintentionally entered the 2-surface mode, please refer to the following article to release the mode.
"LIFT" is displayed on the monitor.

3) Please check if there is any error in the creation of design data.

For example, if the design data was created in a different location, or if there is no design data for the location where the bulldozer is currently located, it will be displayed as outside the design area.

Since it is difficult to check the data in detail on the monitor, it is necessary to ask the creator to check the target data.
