iDozer 8040 Calibration

This configuration lets the work equipment controller save the reset sensor position installed to the lift cylinder. This adjustment is required when the work equipment controller is replaced. Also if the lift cylinder or stroke/reset sensor is repaired or replaced.

Calibration Condition Requirements:
• Operating mode: P (power mode)
• Fuel control dial: MAX position
• HST oil temperature (hydraulic oil temperature): 50 to 80°C
• Parking brake switch: LOCK position
• Work equipment lock switch: FREE position
• Blade control lever: NEUTRAL position
• Auto/manual switch: ON (automatic control is enabled by iBlade enable switch on W/E lever)
• Fan Mode: 70%

***Allowable ground inclination (reference): –1° to 1°***
1. Start the engine2. Select “Input ID” on the “Adjustment” menu screen, of the service mode.
3. When the “Input ID” screen is shown, directly input the adjustment ID “8040” with the numerical input switches.
4. When the “Adjustment” screen is shown, push the iBlade auto/manual enable switch (on W/E control lever), the automatic control of the work equipment is enabled, and “AUTO ON” is shown on the machine monitor.
5. Turn the fuel control dial to the MAX (high idle) position.
6. Set the work equipment lock switch to the FREE position.
7. Secure the safety around the machine, and push F6 to start the automatic adjustment.
 

REMARK
• When “Condition Out of range” is shown on the machine monitor screen, there is a condition that does not agree with the condition of this adjustment. Make sure that all the conditions are satisfied and “Condition Out of range” goes off, and start the automatic adjustment.
8. If the blade is stopped while it is lowered to the ground during the automatic adjustment and “Press F6 – Caution Blade Moves” is shown on the machine monitor screen, push F6 to restart the automatic adjustment.
 

REMARK
• During the automatic adjustment, the blade stops 1 time during the operation.
• If the adjustment condition is not satisfied during the adjustment, “ERROR!! PLEASE RETRY” is shown on the machine monitor screen, and the work equipment stops. If “ERROR!! PLEASE RETRY” is shown, push F5 to go back to the “Input ID” screen and do the adjustment again.
• If the magnets of the reset sensor and piston are installed in the opposite direction, the reset sensor cannot sense the magnetic force. “ERROR!! PLEASE RETRY” is shown on the machine monitor screen, the work equipment stops, and the adjustment cannot be completed.
• Make sure that the surface with “M” mark on the piston rod is installed correctly.
9. Make sure that “CALIBRATION FINISHED” is shown on the machine monitor screen and the buzzer operates, and push F5 to return to the Adjustment ID screen.
10. Cycle the key switch OFF, wait 30 seconds, and turn the key back to ON.
